Field Day
A field day was held on saturday 15/12/2018 Somewhere in G.Gaube near the beach. .
Participants were BAL,BAN,DM,FO.
BAL tested successfully his homebrewed 5/8 40m antenna while BAN had successful contacts using his mini G5RV for the first Time.
As for FO,he could not perform his data tests as his laptop had some issues with recognising the com ports to talk to his radio and audio interface. The laptop has not been used for ham communication for a long time and FO might have fiddled with the software configurations.Lessons learnt,be well prepared before the event and always have a ready backup equipment as havoc can occur at any time.

Propagation tests with WSPR
Getting very good propagation on 40,30,20m while 80m is almost dead.
I am now using inverted L monopoles on all these bands instead on my original inclined monopoles.
The new antenna setup performance is much better that the previous one.
Some screenshots of wspr results can be seen at wspr tests
